Meet Driver Jarit Johnson and Other Drivers at Stocks for Tots Tuesday Night

Monday December 8, 2008 Mooresville, NC – Professional Race Car Driver Jarit Johnson will be signing autographs on Tuesday December 9th from 7pm-9pm at the Charles Mack Citizens Center in Mooresville, North Carolina. Johnson is attending the event along with other known race car drivers from NASCAR and NHRA. In addition, Santa Claus himself is expected to make an appearance despite being in his busiest part of the season. Stocks For Tots was created as a way to bring together stock car racing and its fans, while raising awareness of the child abuse problem in North Carolina. The idea was to collect toys and raise money during a festive, family-oriented holiday event. The first fundraiser was held at the Mooresville Armory in December 1989. Since then, the annual event has raised over $850,000 and distributed nearly 50,000 Christmas toys to children in the Mooresville area.
