Jarit Johnson Enters Hickory Motor Speedway’s Fall Brawl

Hickory (NC) Tuesday October 9, 2007 Pre-Race FALL BRAWL 2007 Jarit Johnson will pilot the no.44 Mintex Brake Pads / AutoTrakk.com Chevrolet Late Model for the Fall Brawl at Hickory Motor Speedway on Sunday October 14th. The 250 Lap race is one of the largest Late Model races in the country. Johnson spent the 2007 season racing the limited late model class at Hickory where he collected 8-wins and 4-poles. With the points season over Johnson and his crew have converted their race car to the Late Model class specifically for the Fall Brawl Event. “The Fall Brawl is one of those races that every late model racer would like to have on their resume as having won,” said Johnson. “I know we’re capable of winning as we had a great season at Hickory this year. But I also know the competition is very tough for this race.” “We have an older car and we don’t have the budget for all the best of the best parts,” added Johnson. “We’ll have to be on top of our game for sure, but I have a lot of confidence in our team, so I think we can have a good showing for our sponsors.” AutoTrakk.com has joined the Jarit Johnson Racing team in a one-race deal for the Fall Brawl Event. Auto Trakk is the leading automobile leasing company specializing in financing customers with moderate to severe credit issues. Founder and Chief Executive Officer Blaise Alexander said he identified the niche market in 2001 and created the company to provide financing for consumers with credit scores below 500. Johnson was a close friend and crew member to race car driver Blaise Alexander Jr., who was killed in an ARCA race at Lowes Motor Speedway in 2001.
